Installment Payment Calculator for osCommerce MS2.2 is a module to calculate installment payments (such as layaway, leasing, etc.) as a payment option for your online store. It is geared more towards a situation where an outside agency pays the shop owner and the shopper makes the monthly payments to the agency. However, it can also be used for the store owner to finance or extend the payment. This is also a great option for stores who have trusted clients who need to make payments on certain products, at the store owners discretion of course. This Payment Module is ONLY a Calculator of the Down Payment & Monthly Payments thereafter, no record is kept in the Database of the payment details. Customers and Administrators will receive the calculated Down Payment & Monthly Payments in the automatically generated order email. Down payment is currently set at 15%, payment term at 12 months (but could also be weeks) and interest at around 22%. You can change those to whatever you wish by merely editing the 'includes/modules/payments/installment.php' file.
